MAPS PSO Ambulatory Focus Group

MAPS has created an Ambulatory Focus Group for our members!

The purpose of this group is to improve and support ambulatory care settings on their patient safety journey. The focus group is aimed at collaborating with other ambulatory members, confidential open discussions, educational offerings and learnings. MAPS ambulatory consists of: outpatient centers, home health and hospice centers, surgical centers, medical groups, primary care and specialty offices, free-standing emergency departments and more. The goal of this group is to provide MAPS Coordinators an outlet to discuss relevant patient safety concerns so that organizations can help each other and share resources that you can bring back to your organization. 


Who should join? 

Any ambulatory members can be added to the MAPS PSO Ambulatory Focus Group. 

  • Doctor’s office

  • Clinic

  • Ambulatory surgery center

  • Emergency room

  • Outpatient hospital department

  • Laboratory

  • Diagnostic centers         


MAPS invites you to be a part of the Team!

The Ambulatory Focus Group meets twice a year for a Coordinator call to discuss patient safety topics and challenges. There is no need to register for these calls. MAPS will automatically add you to the invitation according to our ambulatory member list serve. Please join our Ambulatory Focus Group for an opportunity to learn, collaborate and have access to ambulatory resources. MAPS want to know your ambulatory challenges.
We are asking that you share your patient safety concerns with us. We’ll post them on our list serve and ask members to share experiences and resources in efforts to problem solve challenges.
