NY Times Article Explains That COVID-19 is Still Very Much Alive - June 4, 2020
The number of daily confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide is averaging more than 100,000 per day, including 134,064 on May 30, marking the fastest pace the outbreak has spread so far, according to a media outlet's tracking database. The emerging hot spots are in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, possibly due to increases in improved testing programs in some countries but also due to first-time outbreaks in other areas.
